Happy Easter!

The Hope of Easter is just that - a hope.  A hope for something better; a hope for something real.  The disappointment you may be feeling is only normal and right.  You are searching for real, lasting truth among frail, failing, fallen, sin-twisted humanity.  We should be disappointed here, but we are not left with only disappointment.  We are left also with hope.  Hope drives us; makes us look for a better fulfillment - One that lasts forever and can never be broken or lost.  Hope is among the best of things.  And, hope in Jesus never dies. ~1 Corinthians 13:13.  Real hope is not a thing, it's a person, the Christ.  Thank you, God, for making a way, Jesus, through all this mess and confusion.  Thank you for making an unbreakable road that can be found and guaranteed to lead us to real joy and real life if we can endure here.

There Is Always Time To Pray

There is always time to pray.  God lives out of time so he always has time to listen and respond to prayers.  This could be why sometimes we get answers to our prayers over situations that we haven’t prayed about yet.  God can show up and answer our prayers before we even pray them, because he can.  (And because there is no time for us to pray over them in the moment.)  That is also why we need to remember to pray after the event, when there is time to pray, so that we can fulfill the time requirement (the event was prayed over – it just so happens that it was prayed over after the event happened in our time), and in that prayer, praise God for his provision; (for his pre-vision).
