I read a story once about parents having to explain to their dying child what dying will be like.  They told her that it will be like going to sleep one night and when she wakes up she will no longer be in her own bed at home, but in a new bed waking up in heaven.  Mom and Dad won’t be there, but Jesus will.  I have wondered if Jesus greets everyone who comes, or does he have representatives, like a loved one or a friend or someone famous from history sit by our bedside and greet us; who goes along with us for awhile to orient us to life in heaven and then brings us before God and who introduces us to Him.  As in the movie “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring” and “The Return Of The King,” I wonder who will be at our bedside to greet us when we wake up in our heavenly bedchamber?
