Is God Crying Himself Hoarse?

Maybe the reason God/Jesus doesn’t seem to be speaking very much to us is that he is so hoarse from crying aloud about all the injustice and crying out against the pain we’ve been (and keep going through), that his voice is just too hoarse – too raw – too choked up to speak anymore.  Maybe it’s only when he sees something he wants, or can rejoice in, that he can physically verbalize again, perhaps even manage a laugh, and is finally able to speak and say, “Good Job!  Great Job!!”
