When I was growing up, there was an idea often said to me, “It’s us against the world.” I’d rather ascribe to the proactive idea of, “It’s us for the world. Though no one else does, let us help the world.” I’ve been raising my children to only survive this world. It’s time to come out of hiding and start making strategic strikes into the enemy territory, sniping targets one by one – helping others when we can – and then fading back into the shadows, blending back into the crowd.
